This privacy policy applies to the English e-learning course for clinical dietetics and nutrition, hereinafter referred to as the “Course” and is attached to the Regulations for providing services by electronic means within the framework of the course English for clinical dietetics and nutrition available on the website.

What information is collected?
Personal data and other information provided by the User
The following information is required while creating an account:

+ account name (login),
+ individual password.
During participation in the Course cookies will be saved on the User’s device. It is necessary to maintain User’s session in the Course, store User’s preferences, adjust the service better to the User’s needs, collect statistics of website visits and optimise the adjustment of advertisements.
If the User does not agree to place cookies on the device by the Service provider, s/he may modify the browser settings respectively. However, complete blockage of cookies will prevent the User from logging into the course. No change in your browser settings is equivalent with the authorisation to install cookies on the User’s device in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
History of the Course participation
In order to optimise the process of studying, the system collects detailed information on the learning progress in the Course, including information on the process of completing lessons, exercises and tests as well as revisions.
Transaction history
Service Provider’s IT systems store information on the history of website purchases and settlements, including personal data of the transaction parties.
Google Analytics
The Service Provider’s Course websites use Google Analytics statistics which are operated by Google Inc., based in the United States.
Google Analytics uses cookies to recognise website visits by the same person, record the time of the first visit to the website and the website from which the redirection to the Course website occurred. The data collected by Google Analytics include, among others, the IP address of your computer and the data made available by a web browser (including the website address, HTTP User Agent header, browser language, installed plug-ins, screen size, HTTP Referer header). On our behalf Google processes the collected data enabling generation of statistics on users’ activity on the website.
Why is the information collected?
We collect the data in order to allow for the provision of services within the framework of the Course, as well as:
+ to handle payment processing and order fulfilment (including sending notifications about your purchase and notifications about expiring subscription),

+ to develop the platform and introduce new functionalities,
+ to optimise the learning process on the basis of anonymous statistical data on the platform Users’ learning progress and their history of using the platform,
+ to develop new products on the basis of information about the Users’ learning progress, the history of solving exercises for statistical purposes (for example, in order to study the statistics of visits to the Course website),
+ for security purposes (to detect any security breaches or instances of unauthorised use of the Course),
+ to detect problems with the functioning of the Course (for example, wrong links, software malfunction), to offer better tailored content (including search results),
+ to send commercial information, including promotional offers (consent to the transmission of this information, however, is not required to use our service and may be revoked on the account settings page or by using a link attached to the commercial information which enables abandonment of the subscription).

Outsourcing of the processing of personal data to third parties

As Administrator of personal data of the customers, on the basis of article. 31 of the Act of 29th August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws of 1997, No. 133, item 883, as amended), we may by contract entrust processing of such data to other entities, such as companies that provide us with collocation services or hosting services. These entities are required to maintain confidentiality of the entrusted data and comply with relevant provisions of the protection of your privacy.
Sharing personal data with other entities
We respect your privacy. Your personal data will not be shared with other entities without your consent, except as required by applicable legal regulations.
By registering for the course you agree that:
+ necessary information about you will be submitted to companies which settle payments on our behalf, solely for the purpose of enabling realisation of Your order (for example, when you select payment through our partners, Your name, surname and e-mail address will be forwarded along with payment data so that it is not necessary for you to provide the data again; data forwarded in this way will be used solely to support the payment process),

+ basic data about the performed transactions (date and time of transaction, amount, purchased product, account login) were forwarded only to the partners promoting our Course – solely for the purpose of verifying the correctness of calculations.
Anonymous statistical statements prepared on the basis of analysis of server logs, learning history and history of moving about the Course may be shared with third parties. The statements will, nonetheless, never contain data enabling identification of specific individuals.
Data security
Employees – Service Providers authorised to process personal data sign data confidentiality declarations.We recommend using the Service by means of the HTTPS protocol in order to secure data during their transmission over the Internet.
Security of card transactions
In the case of card transactions, sensitive card data (such as the card number or card security code) are never stored on our servers, they are stored exclusively on servers of companies authorised to manage payments, which secure transactions in accordance with legal regulations and provisions of organisations issuing payment cards. Data associated with cards are always sent using an encrypted connection.
Access to information about you and their update or deletion
You have the right to access and correct the submitted data. Most personal data associated with the account can be reviewed and modified after logging in to the Course at the settings page. For security reasons, the history of changes made in the collection of personal data is registered on the platform in order to ensure integrity, accountability and authenticity of the data.
The request for removal of Your account and personal data we store can be submitted at any time. Such a request should be sent by electronic mail (from the e-mail address associated with the account) or by regular mail. The message should include the name of the account on the Course platform, name, surname and address of the User as well as the e-mail address associated with the account. In order to request authorisation to remove data our employee may also ask for additional information to confirm the identity of the person who made the request.
Changes in the Privacy Policy
The Service Provider reserves the right to introduce changes to the Privacy Policy, in accordance with relevant legal regulations. Current version of the Privacy Policy will be available at:
Users will be notified about changes in the Privacy Policy by e-mail sent to the address associated with the Course account.
The User has 14 days from the moment of receipt of the above mentioned e-mail to approve of the changes.
If the User does not accept the changes in the Privacy Policy, s/he has the right to withdraw from the Course.
